Shiv Sena warns Rohingyas to leave Jammu or face serious consequences

Jammu: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit chief Manish Sahni has demanded the immediate deportation of Rohingyas illegally settled in the highly sensitive Jammu and Kashmir region and called for a verification drive, also issuing an open warning to them to leave the state.
Speaking to reporters at the party’s central office, state chief Manish Sahni said that Jammu and Kashmir, which is grappling with terrorism and is strategically highly sensitive, has the largest number of Rohingya Muslims. The presence of Rohingyas and other illegal immigrants poses a serious threat to the internal security of the state and the country. Sahni expressed surprise, saying that the purpose behind the Rohingyas traveling thousands of kilometers to reach terrorism-affected Jammu and Kashmir is a matter that requires thorough investigation. Sahni said that
no leniency should be shown towards the Rohingyas. They have been found to be involved in crimes ranging from petty theft to smuggling, espionage, drug trafficking, and document forgery.

Sahni expressed surprise that the Modi government at the center is heavily politicizing the issue of infiltrators, but there is no strict law in the country to expel the Rohingyas.
Recently, the Supreme Court also reprimanded the central government.
Sahni demanded that the Modi government and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir issue strict instructions to expel the Rohingyas settled in the highly sensitive Jammu and Kashmir. He warned that if the Rohingyas do not leave Jammu, Shiv Saniks will expel them in their own way.
