Jammu:- Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit leaders left for Mumbai today with the list of potential party candidates for the assembly elections.
A core committee meeting was held today at the party’s central office under the chairmanship of party state chief Manish Sahni. In which the list of candidates by the state unit for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections was finalized. A team of state unit leaders including state chief Manish Sahni left for Mumbai from Jammu today to present this list before the party high command and for the final decision.
While talking to media , Sahni said that with the resolve to restore the rights of the local people of Jammu and Kashmir, instructions were issued to the state unit by party party chief Honorable Uddhav Bala Saheb Thackeray to participate in the assembly elections of Jammu and Kashmir.
Under which the names of candidates have been decided at the state level. Which will be placed before the high command for finalization and will be made public after getting the green signal from the party high command. Sahni said that Shiv Sena (UBT) candidates will contest the elections with the resolution to fulfill the aspirations of the people including protection of the identity of Jammu and Kashmir, protection of cultural identity, restoration of privileges and rights of local people under Section 371, free electricity and water, unemployment allowance for educated youth etc.
On this occasion Gen. Secretary Vikas Bakshi , GI Singh , Vice president Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh , president Kashmir division Malik Basit , Rakesh Gupta , President Kamghar Wing Raj Singh were present.
