Six Injured in Pre-Dawn Road Accident in J&K’s Kathua
Speeding car hits divider while travelling from Jammu
Kathua, Jan 27: Six people, including the driver, were injured in a pre-dawn road accident in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, officials said.
The incident occurred when a private vehicle travelling from Jammu towards Kathua rammed into a road divider near the Mela Mode area. Officials said the car was being driven at a high speed at the time of the accident, causing all occupants to sustain injuries.
The impact resulted in significant damage to the vehicle. The injured were immediately rushed to Hiranagar hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
Police personnel reached the scene soon after the incident and have initiated legal proceedings. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
