SMVDU Mathematician Receives Best Paper Award at International Conference for Innovative Research
Katra, 10-01-2024 : Dr. Surender Singh, an Assistant Professor from the School of Mathematics at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), made a notable contribution to the academic community by presenting a research paper at the prestigious 2024 JNVU-ABVU-AIMT International Conference on “Innovative Research in Science, Management, and Technology (ICIRSMT).” This esteemed conference took place at the Institute of Evening Studies, Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, Rajasthan from January 5th to 7th, 2024.
The event was organized in collaboration with AIMT, USA, University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, USA, and Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria. Dr. Singh’s paper, titled “Novel Fuzzy Knowledge Measure and Fuzzy Correlation Coefficient with Their Applications,” stood out among the submissions and earned him the prestigious Best Paper Award in the Science & Technology Track.
The focus of Dr. Singh’s paper revolved around addressing positive and negative evaluations of uncertainty arising from vagueness. He presented a groundbreaking method for studying fuzzy correlation measures, demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of Mathematics.
The international conference attracted eminent speakers and delegates from various countries, including the USA, Japan, Oman, Botswana, Mauritius, Iraq, and India.
