Social Welfare Department, ALIMCO provide Prosthetic Aids to PwD in Samba

SAMBA, JANUARY 5: Social Welfare Department Samba has conducted a series of camps across the district on Thursday organised a camp to achieve the 100% saturation of Assistance to Disabled Persons for   Fitting of Aids and Appliances scheme in the district

After conducting block level assessment camps, the Social Welfare Department provided 432 different prosthetic aids to 212 beneficiaries in collaboration with ALIMCO.

As per Social Welfare Officer Deep Kumar, the department will also hold panchayat level medical assessments camps in next phase to saturate the distribution of prosthetic aids among the divangjans of the district.
