Sonakshi Sinha Backs Sonam Wangchuk, Calls for Peaceful Protest

Mumbai, July 20: Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha voiced her support for environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk amid his protest in Delhi and appealed for peaceful participation ahead of a planned march on July 20.

Sinha shared a video expressing concern over Wangchuk’s forced transfer from his protest site at Jantar Mantar to Safdarjung Hospital by Delhi Police. She questioned the manner in which the development was handled and expressed solidarity with those continuing the campaign.

The actor praised Wangchuk and his supporters for maintaining a peaceful approach during the protest. She urged those participating in the upcoming march to remain calm and committed to non-violence.
