SpiceJet Flight to Leh Returns to Delhi After Engine Snag

Boeing 737 carrying around 150 passengers lands safely all disembarked without incident

New Delhi, Feb. 24: A Leh bound aircraft operated by SpiceJet returned to the national capital on Tuesday morning following a technical problem, sources said.

The Boeing 737, operating as flight SG121 from Delhi to Leh, was carrying around 150 passengers at the time of the incident. According to sources, the aircraft developed an engine related issue shortly after departure, prompting the crew to turn back as a precautionary measure.

In a statement, a SpiceJet spokesperson confirmed that the flight returned to Delhi after experiencing a technical snag. “The aircraft landed safely in Delhi, and all passengers were disembarked normally,” the airline said.

No injuries were reported, and further checks of the aircraft were being carried out.
