SRK Captivates Saudi Fans at Joy Awards 2026, Wins Hearts in Riyadh

Mumbai, Jan 19 : Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan lit up Riyadh with his signature charm at the prestigious Joy Awards 2026, leaving fans awestruck on the red carpet in a stylish all black ensemble.

In a video shared by the official Joy Awards handle, the Pathaan star called the event “more beautiful than ever,” reflecting fondly on his previous visits to Saudi Arabia and expressing delight at returning to the kingdom.

Shah Rukh praised the “outstanding” love and support from Saudi fans, calling it deeply heartening and respectful. He spoke warmly about the warmth, hospitality, and culture of the country, sharing that he felt truly welcomed. Recalling a past film shoot in Saudi Arabia, he revealed hopes of returning for a holiday to enjoy the locations, food, and local culture.

SRK was joined by global celebrities, including Millie Bobby Brown, Katy Perry, and Squid Game stars Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun, in celebrating the fifth edition of the Joy Awards. On the red carpet, the actor paired a black blazer with matching trousers, exuding effortless elegance.

Taking to X, Shah Rukh posted a heartfelt message for Turki Alalshikh, chairperson of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, congratulating him on five years of the Joy Awards and calling the event spectacular.

Looking ahead, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s upcoming film King, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. A teaser released on his 60th birthday showcased a darker, more intense avatar of the actor, complete with silver hair, sharp expressions, and a brooding persona. One striking moment featured him holding a “King of Hearts” card, a nod to his enduring title, alongside a chilling dialogue hinting at the film’s high-stakes action.

The film is also rumored to feature his daughter Suhana Khan, though the full cast and release date remain under wraps.
