Tamil Nadu, Mar 03 : Radhikaa Sarathkumar’s latest rural comedy drama, Thaai Kizhavi, which released in theatres on February 27, 2026, has continued its stable run at the ticket counters. After an impressive weekend, the film managed to hold steady on its first weekday, adding to its growing total.

According to early trade estimates, the film earned approximately ₹2.75 crore on Monday. With this, the cumulative earnings now stand at ₹16.55 crore. The movie opened with ₹2.65 crore on Friday, followed by a noticeable jump over the weekend, collecting over ₹5 crore on Saturday and ₹6.15 crore on Sunday.

Positive word of mouth and favorable audience reactions have contributed significantly to its performance. The absence of major competing releases has also worked in its favor, allowing the film to draw steady footfalls across Tamil Nadu.

On Monday, the film recorded an overall Tamil occupancy of 24.43%. Morning shows registered 15.21%, which gradually improved to 24.26% in the afternoon. Evening screenings saw a further rise to 27.76%, while night shows peaked at 30.49%, indicating consistent audience interest through the day.
