Thank you ISRO, PM Modi Govt for making India first nation to touch South Pole of Moon: Ritika Trehan

Jammu,25-08-2023 : Chief Spokesperson BJP Mahila Morcha J&K UT  Ritika Trehan today congratulated ISRO and PM Modi Govt on the success of its lunar mission Chandrayaan-3, describing it as a ‘giant step’ for humanity and a ‘great achievement’. In the congratulatory message, Ritika termed India’s mission to the moon as “very exciting”.“She congratulated all the scientists part of this mission for making  India the first country to land a spacecraft on the south pole of the moon. This is a great achievement, which was watched by many people around the world,” Ritika said. She said India “has taken a very keen interest in space, particularly in the peaceful uses of outer space. She  wished ISRO a greater success in its space exploration.” Ritika further said that  said India’s scientific prowess and what it has achieved truly is a gift to all of humanity. She also hailed the high number of women scientists who contributed to the remarkable achievement. India’s third Moon mission Chandrayaan-3 touched down on the lunar south pole at 6.04 pm after a flawless 41-day voyage.

With this touchdown on the Moon in its second attempt in four years, India has become the fourth country to master the technology of soft-landing on the lunar surface after the US, China and the erstwhile Soviet Union, added Ritika. A glorious day for every Indian as ISRO scripts history! Congratulations ISRO. Every Indian is proud of this remarkable achievement and we are grateful for your service,” she said. This is a historic moment! It is a big achievement for the country. Many congratulations to all the countrymen, scientists, engineers and employees of ISRO for the success of Chandrayaan-3,” Ritika said.
