To get rid of BJP’s schemes like ‘Agniveer’, vote for Congress: Tony

SUCHETGARH: Congress leader and Member DDC Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony on Sunday asked the people to vote for Congress to get rid of bogus schemes like ‘Agniveer’ launched by BJP to hoodwink the youth and ruining their future as well as the country.

The Congress leader said this while addressing a meeting held here at Village and Panchayat Haripur at Suchetgarh in which Sham Lal Bhagat, Heera Fougi, Sarpanch Kanu Chadwal, Om Parkash and others were present.

In the meeting, the Congress leader made a fervent appeal to the SC, ST, OBC and other minority community members to favour Congress to get rid of ‘Jumlebaaz’ BJP. He said that looking into the pathetic condition of the country where there is no law and order, and the minorities, SC, ST and OBC segments are being discriminated at every step, it becomes imperative that secular party like Congress should be given the responsibility to run the governments at the central as well as State levels because under the BJP arbitrariness is ruling the roost, and a selected few have got the rights while underprivileged are facing trauma on each and every nook of the country.

Tony said to revive democracy and bring to life the law and order, the people have only way out and that is Congress party.  He said that BJP is RSS’ ‘parrot’, which is supposed to follow orders of master and that is the reason behind divisive forces getting more and more powerful giving hard times to SC, ST, OBC and other minorities.

Tony said if people of India really wanted to get rid of Agniveer kind of recruitment schemes, and have regular recruitment in Army and other belt forces, they should vote for Congress so that future generations can be saved from the exploitation of BJP given chance to serve the nation with full dignity and pride. He also said that to make caste-based census in all the States including J&K a reality, Congress is the only option.
