Tom Holland Shares How Frequently He Gets a New ‘Spider-Man’ Suit
Actor says filming of Spider-Man, Brand New Day requires a costume upgrade every two weeks as fans await 2026 release
Hollywood star Tom Holland is giving fans a peek behind the mask. The actor, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), revealed that he gets a fresh Spider-Man suit “every two weeks” while filming the upcoming sequel Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
In a conversation with Esquire, Holland shared, “Yeah, it definitely does. I probably get a new suit every two weeks, I reckon.”
Filming for the fourth Spider-Man installment began in August, keeping fans buzzing with excitement. The film, officially titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, was announced by Sony Pictures at CinemaCon 2025 and is slated for release on July 31, 2026.
Holland, who has played Peter Parker since Captain America: Civil War (2016), continues to be creatively involved in shaping his Spider-Man journey. On set in London and Scotland, Holland has been joined by his fiancée Zendaya, reprising her role as MJ, along with Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, and several new faces including Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear) and Sadie Sink (Stranger Things).
The cast also features Mark Ruffalo returning as Hulk, alongside Michael Mando and Jon Bernthal, promising MCU fans an exciting blend of old and new.
