Tony slams Govt’s move of switching from Smart to Prepaid Meters
Asks people to get unite in opposing perceived injustices
JAMMU,04-08-2023 : DDC Member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony has vehemently criticized the decision of the government to transition from smart meters to prepaid meters in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement released today, the seasoned political leader expressed deep concern over the government’s approach, highlighting a decline in service quality despite significant investments in infrastructure.
He drew attention to the prevalent hardships faced by the public due to irregular power supply, despite the government’s focus only on spending money on infrastructure. He lamented the adverse impact on the daily lives of the citizens and underscored the disconnect between the government’s endeavors and the deteriorating service standards.
Tony castigated the government’s actions, asserting that it stand contrary to the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He urged the people to recognize the prevailing miseries and hardships caused by such decisions, advising them to reconsider their support for the BJP.
Tony remarked that the people have become unwitting victims of decisions made without due consideration for their well-being. He urged the public to unite in opposing the perceived injustices and mobilize against such actions by the government.
