Tony welcomes appointment of Pargat Singh as AICC Secretary In-Charge of J&K
Calls Him Voice of Grassroots Congress Workers in J&K
Jammu, November 12: Congress workers across Jammu and Kashmir have expressed immense happiness over the appointment of Pargat Singh as the AICC Secretary in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, following the latest organisational appointments approved by the Congress President.
Welcoming the decision, Senior Congress leader and DDC Suchetgarh Taranjit Singh Tony hailed the party high command for recognizing a leader who is “deeply connected with the grassroots workers of the region.” Tony said that Pargat Singh’s appointment reflects the party’s commitment to strengthening the Congress organisation in Jammu and Kashmir. “Pargat Singh ji is known to every Congress worker on the ground. His approachability, dedication, and long-standing service to the party make him the right choice for this responsibility,” Tony stated.
Tony further added that this move would energize the Congress cadre at the block and district levels and reinforce unity within the party ranks ahead of upcoming political challenges.
Local Congress workers also lauded the leadership of Congress President Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal for making thoughtful appointments aimed at reviving the party’s organisational strength across states.
With this appointment, Congress workers in J&K have vowed to work collectively under the guidance of Shri Pargat Singh to take forward the message of peace, development, and inclusive politics envisioned by the party leadership.
