Jammu, October 14: In response to the prevailing unfavorable weather conditions, authorities have taken the prudent measure of suspending traffic movement on the Sinthan-Kishtwar and Margan Roads. The decision to suspend traffic flow was communicated through an order issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kokernag.
The order cited the rapidly changing weather conditions, particularly the persistent snowfall at the Sinthan Top, as the compelling reasons behind this suspension. The directive unequivocally states that both the Sinthan-Kishtwar and Margan Roads are to remain closed for traffic movements until the weather conditions improve and the snow is adequately cleared.
