Auto-rickshaw and bus collide near Serli village; devotees among the deceased
Katra, Oct 14: A tragic road accident near Serli village in Katra claimed the lives of three people, including an auto-rickshaw driver and two devotees visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, while leaving two others injured on Tuesday morning.
Officials reported that the accident occurred when an auto rickshaw and a bus, traveling from the Helipad towards Katra, collided head-on. The impact was severe, resulting in three immediate fatalities, while two passengers sustained injuries.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, and their condition is currently being monitored. Police have registered the incident and launched a formal investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
