Highlights Atmanirbhar Bharat Vision in J&K UT workshops
JAMMU, Sep 28: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Vice President & Co Convenor AtmaNirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan BJP J&K , Rekha Mahajan addressed a series of workshops on Atmanirbhar Bharat in Districts Udhampur, Reasi, and Jammu North, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and economic empowerment.
The workshops drew enthusiastic participation from party workers, leaders, and local citizens, underlining the growing momentum of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative in the region.
Speaking at the events, Rekha Mahajan lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary initiatives aimed at strengthening India’s economy and fostering innovation at the grassroots level.
“The Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign is not just a policy, it is a movement to empower every citizen, every entrepreneur, and every youth in the country. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, we are witnessing transformative changes that are creating opportunities for sustainable development and self-sufficiency,” she said.
Mahajan highlighted various government initiatives supporting small businesses, startups, and local industries, stressing that active participation at the community level is key to realizing the vision of a self-reliant India. She urged party workers and citizens to take full advantage of the schemes and contribute to the region’s economic growth.
The workshops were attended by prominent BJP leaders including District Presidents Rohit Dubey (Reasi), Arun Gupta (Udhampur), Nand Kishore Sharma (Jammu North), and Kuldeep Raj Sharma (Akhnoor), along with MLAs R.S Pathania, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, and Mohan Lal Bhagat. Prabhari Narayan Singh, Vinay Gupta, Vaishno Devi, Parmodh Singh Kapahi, and Ayodhya Gupta also participated, engaging actively with attendees and reinforcing the message of citizen empowerment.
Rekha Mahajan concluded her address by encouraging local youth and entrepreneurs to embrace innovation, skill development, and sustainable practices.
She reiterated that initiatives like Make in India, Digital India, and Skill India have opened unprecedented avenues for self-employment and economic resilience.
The workshops successfully inspired participants to actively contribute to the Atmanirbhar Bharat mission, reflecting BJP’s commitment to empowering communities across Jammu and Kashmir.
