Tribute Paid to Martyred SOG Jawan Amjad Ali Khan in Udhampur, J&K
Udhampur pays tribute to SOG hero who sacrificed his life in anti-terror operation
Udhampur, Dec 16: A solemn wreath laying ceremony was held at the District Police Lines, Udhampur, to honour martyred SOG Jawan Amjad Ali Khan, who lost his life during an ongoing encounter in the Sohan area of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ceremony was attended by Jammu and Kashmir DGP Nalin Prabhat, IGP Jammu zone Bhim Sen Tuti, senior police officials, CRPF personnel, and the District Udhampur administration, who paid rich floral tributes to the fallen officer.
The J&K Police took to X to pay homage, stating: “Heroes Never Die! Nalin Prabhat, DG-P, and all ranks of J&K Police salute the martyrdom of Ct Amjad Ali Khan, who made the supreme sacrifice whilst combatting Pakistani terrorists in the forest of Soan, Distt Udhampur. We share the pain and grief of the martyr’s family.”
The anti-terror operation in the area is still underway.
