TV journalist and editor of Republic TV Arnab Goswami arrested

Mumbai, 04 November  Mumbai Police arrested Arnab Goswami, editor of Republic TV on Wednesday morning. Arnab Goswami has been taken to the police Alibaug and is preparing to appear in court.

According to the information, the arrest of Arnab Goswami has been made on 05 May 2018 in Kavir village of Alibag in connection with the suicide of architect Anvay Naik and his mother. In the letter written by Anvay Naik before the suicide, the names of Arnab Goswami, Feroze Sheikh and Nitesh Sharda were mentioned. The matter of abetment of suicide was also written on these three.

The complaint was filed by Akshata Naik, wife of Anvay Naik. For this reason, the Mumbai Police was investigating this case. In this case, on Wednesday, Mumbai police searched Arnab Goswami’s house and arrested him.
