Udhayanidhi Stalin Pushes ‘Dravidian Model 2.0’ Campaign in Chennai
DMK leader leads roadshow in Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni, highlights welfare agenda and alliance push
Chennai, Apr 11 : Udhayanidhi Stalin, a key leader of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, stepped up his election campaign with a high-energy roadshow in Chennai’s Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni Assembly constituency, where he is contesting for a second consecutive term.
Actively touring across Tamil Nadu, he has been campaigning extensively for candidates of the DMK led Secular Progressive Alliance. Emphasizing collective victory, he remarked that ensuring wins for alliance candidates would strengthen his own political mandate and pave the way for a renewed governance model.
During the campaign, Udhayanidhi engaged in door-to-door outreach in Chepauk, focusing on the government’s welfare measures and development initiatives. He asserted that continued public support would accelerate progress and ensure stability under the current leadership.
The constituency holds historical significance, having been represented multiple times by his grandfather, M. Karunanidhi, a towering figure in Dravidian politics.
In a social media message, he highlighted schemes introduced for minority communities during the tenure led by Chief Minister M. K. Stalin. Reaffirming his party’s stance, he stressed the importance of safeguarding secular values and strengthening unity across communities.
