Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Induct 10,000 Constables During Jodhpur–Jaipur Visit
Home Minister to visit Jodhpur, attend Maheshwari Samaj Convention before Jaipur ceremony
Jaipur, Jan 09 — Union Home Minister Amit Shah will formally induct 10,000 newly recruited constables into the Rajasthan Police during a grand ceremony scheduled to be held at the Rajasthan Police Academy ground here on Saturday.
The recruitment and selection process for the constables has already been completed. Recruits from various districts across the state are expected to arrive in Jaipur by Friday evening to participate in the induction ceremony and officially join the state police force the following morning.
Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in Jodhpur late Friday night aboard a BSF aircraft and will stay overnight in the Sun City. Prior to departing for Jaipur on Saturday, the Home Minister will participate in the Maheshwari Samaj International Convention and Expo in Jodhpur.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will also attend the convention in Jodhpur and is expected to be present at the induction related events.
The induction of 10,000 constables is being seen as a major boost to Rajasthan’s policing strength and law enforcement infrastructure.
