Union Minister Reddy Seeks Divine Blessings at Bawe Wali Mata Temple for Peaceful J&K Elections

With Mata Rani's Blessings, BJP Aims to Propel J&K's Growth Journey, Says Union Minister

Jammu, 06-09-2024: Union Minister G Kishan Reddy visited the revered Bawe Wali Mata temple today, offering prayers for the peace and prosperity of the nation, including the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. As the BJP’s election in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir, Reddy emphasized the importance of peaceful, incident-free Assembly elections in the region. He is currently stationed in Jammu to oversee the BJP’s election preparations and campaign strategies.

“I paid obeisance at the sacred temple of Mata Kali. We prayed for the continued peace and development of Jammu and Kashmir, and for our nation. We also sought blessings for Modi ji, to guide the country towards new heights of progress and success,” Reddy stated.

Expressing optimism, Reddy said that with the blessings of Mata Rani, the BJP would continue to spearhead the development of Jammu and Kashmir. He also announced that Home Minister Amit Shah would unveil the BJP’s manifesto on Friday and officially launch the party’s campaign from Jammu on Saturday.

The manifesto, Reddy revealed, would prioritize the welfare of women, youth, farmers, and the underprivileged. He emphasized the party’s commitment to improving the socio-economic conditions in the region.

Reddy also took the opportunity to strongly criticize the alliance between the Congress and the National Conference, referring to it as an “anti-development alliance.” He accused the coalition of promoting corruption, dynastic politics, and fostering militancy in Jammu and Kashmir. “The NC-Congress alliance is not for development; it’s an alliance of dynasties and corruption, aimed at encouraging terrorism in the region,” he remarked.
