UP Board to Organise District Level Book Fairs for Affordable Textbooks
Initiative aims to curb overpriced and unauthorised study materials
Lucknow, Apr 7: The Uttar Pradesh Board has announced district-level book fairs to ensure students receive authorised textbooks at reasonable prices.
The move targets over one crore students and seeks to eliminate the sale of overpriced and unauthorised books. Officials stated that strict monitoring mechanisms will be implemented, and schools failing to comply may face disciplinary action.
