UT Names Administrative Secretary (Finance) as Nodal Officer for 8th Pay Commission Implementation
M. Raju appointed UT nodal officer to oversee 8th Pay Commission coordination
Srinagar, Feb 11: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday appointed the Union Territory-Level Nodal Officer for the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission.
According to Circular No. 01-JK(GAD) of 2026, dated January 7, the Administrative Secretary of the Finance Department, M. Raju, IAS, has been designated as the UT-Level Nodal Officer. He will coordinate and liaise with the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, to ensure smooth execution of the 8th Pay Commission recommendations.
The order was issued by the General Administration Department under the authority of the Jammu and Kashmir government.
