Jammu, 04-11-2025: An emergency meeting of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, was held on 4th November, 2025, to fill up the vacant post of president, which fell vacant because of the untimely demise of a brave, bold, visionary Dogra leader and the late president of the trust.
Before initiating proceedings, all trustees/special invitees, pandits, mandir karamcharies, and staff members jointly paid floral tributes to the departed Late President Th. Gulchain Singh Charak.
The trustees then assembled separately, expressed their personal opinions, and thereafter all trustees unanimously approved and elected Shri V. K. Abrol (Retd. Chief Engineer) as President of the Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
All proceedings of Shardhanjali, followed by personal experiences shared by all individuals, were covered by Sh. S.C. Rekhi, General Secretary of the Management Trust.
Sh. V.K. Abrol, after taking over as president, briefed the gathering that we have now to jointly take forward the Programme and Maintence of our Mandir and this is possible only by joint efforts. To this all Trustees present in the meeting assured full cooperation.
