Veterans’ devotion, sacrifice made BJP World’s largest political party: Kavinder

JAMMU, MAR 31: Former Deputy Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Kavinder Gupta, while asserting that Veterans’ devotion and sacrifice has made BJP World’s largest political party, has sought people’s proactive participation in the party’s Foundation Day celebrations this year. He informed that BJP is going to celebrate Party’s Foundation Day as fortnight celebration starting from 6^th April to 14th April with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour especially across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir where the party has performed upto optimum level bringing in the greater transformation after complete integration of J&K with the rest of nation.

This was expressed by senior BJP leader in a statement issued to media at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar here today.  On the occasion, Sham choudhary ex minister, Vibodh Gupta General Secretary BJP, Prerna Nanda, Karuna Khetri, Shallu Mahajan, Akash Chopra, Neeraj Lucky Puri, Monu Salathia and Mohd Rafeek were also present.

Asserting that this provides every reason to make the party’s foundation day celebrations unique, Kavinder urged the party cadre as well as the people to proactively participate in the week long celebrations. Providing details of the scheduled celebrations, Kavinder stated that  several programmes including plantation drives, felicitation of meritorious students,  holding awareness programmes, felicitating key voters, meeting and interacting with the beneficiaries of Central Govt schemes, Hoisting of flags at all levels including the Booth level, etc. Besides, salutations will be offered to all the Bharatiya Janata Party veteran leaders who contributed their lot by devoting their lives for the party’s future that made the long journey of the party a great success beginning from merely two seats in the Parliament to over three hundred today. He said that it is the result of the dedication and sacrifice of such veterans that today the Bharatiya Janata Party is the largest political party across the world.

“ The mantra of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Vishwas’ has become the epitome of building a New India under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and India is being viewed as a nation that can firmly speak about humanity,” he said, adding that with the BJP and Central Government fully committed to the unprecedented development of Jammu and Kashmir  witnessed today there is every reason to make the celebrations unique this year in J&K.

Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta also held a Janata Darbar at Party headquarters and listened to issues of general public. After giving them a patient hearing he got some of the issues solved telephonically on the spot. Regarding the rest of issues he assured them that these would be soon taken up with the concerned authorities on priority and got solved at the earliest.

Senior BJP leaders Priya Sethi and Munish Gupta accompanied the former Deputy Chief Minister.
