Young IAS Officer Nitish Rajora to Lead J&K’s Information Department After High-Level Transfers
J&K Government Transfers Five IAS Officers, Appoints Nitish Rajora as New Director Information
JAMMU, Jan 30: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Jammu and Kashmir government has transferred and posted five senior IAS officers to new positions to enhance governance efficiency. According to an official order, these changes have been made in the interest of administration.
Jatin Kishore (IAS, AGMUT:2020), who was serving as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat and held additional charge as Director, Information J&K, has been transferred and appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Ganderbal.
Shishir Gupta (IAS, AGMUT:2020), previously Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Shopian, replacing Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar (JKAS), who has been directed to report to the General Administration Department (GAD) for further posting.
Nitish Rajora (IAS, AGMUT:2021), who was serving as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Jammu (North), has been appointed as the Director of Information, J&K, a key position responsible for government communication and public outreach.
Rakesh Kumar (IAS, AGMUT:2021), formerly Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Hiranagar, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, a crucial administrative role in the region.
Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak (IAS, AGMUT:2022), who was Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Akhnoor, Jammu, has been posted as SDM of Uri, Baramulla, replacing Javid Ahmad Rather (JKAS). Rather has been asked to report to the General Administration Department (GAD) for his next assignment.
