YOUNG MINDS

It is commonly known that young people are the most important and dynamic group in any place. According to theory, developing nations with sizable youth populations may experience rapid growth if they made investments in youth health, education, and rights protection. Young people today are tomorrow’s inventors, creators, builders, and leaders, as has been emphasised time and time again. However, they require the necessary assistance in the form of good health, education, training, and chances to change the future. When a UT has more available labourers than hungry mouths to feed, this is when the economy is triggered. Simply said, there must be a greater proportion of working-age individuals than dependent individuals. More than half of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are currently of working age. Sadly, the majority of our young people are becoming restless and are working to eliminate the injustices. More work needs to be done if we’re going to break the cycle of poverty, malnutrition, corruption, violence, and unemployment in the UT. All of these vices are not only pervasive but also increasing in our society, which prevents our UT from operating in line with its true purpose. Our UT enjoys a demographic advantage. They are capable of altering things. Young minds will be more innovative and creative, which helps the UT flourish. However, youngsters should be given sufficient opportunities to advocate for their ideas and policies in order to improve the country. Politics is the sole means by which they may execute their ideas and express their viewpoints. We must inspire our young people to get involved in politics and run for important posts like Chief Minister, Minister, MLA, and MP. Experience is not as powerful a tool as unity and knowledge. In reality, we stand a good chance of quickly becoming into a developed and rich UT if the reins of power are placed in the hands of the youth. They are able to effect change. The goal of educational programmes should be to instil in students the value of selecting the proper leaders at the school level. Historically, dynasty politicians have urged our youngsters to stay away from politics due to their own self-interest. Youth, however, ought to be inspired to think about entering politics as a way to help the country. They should concentrate on anti-corruption efforts with a focus on education, prevention, and strategies for doing so. Youth empowerment is a realistic method for achieving good governance. Since they are youthful and brimming with ideas rather than principles, youth will play a significant role in this movement toward a transparent civil society structure that may influence the political system for the welfare of society. Democracy can only function with a strong system of representation, and a UT can only keep its vitality and vibrancy with a strong youth representation. Therefore, it is crucial to recognise the part played by civil society in empowering youth and enhancing our UT’s democratic system in order to promote sustainable development. The solution is to convey among young people the idea that civil society projects may give them a voice and allow them to engage in democracy. Most of our problems need their support to be resolved. The youth can find solutions to the many problems we currently confront. Give them an opportunity to succeed, please. Some of them lack employment despite having degrees.

They should be given the chance to develop themselves and show the world their intellect. Government, public society, NGOs, and other interested parties should support young people so they can make our nation a great and educated one. They will have a significant impact on society. They simply need a supportive and conducive atmosphere at the family, community, social, UT, national, and worldwide levels, which will motivate them to carry out their obligations. Youth play an important part in establishing a country, it is true. They have a positive influence on other young people, the nation, and they are incredibly ambitious and problem-solvers. They have the capacity to create their own identities and advance the country. They won’t be able to do this without the support of the government.
