Young minds give colours, and voice to Viksit Bharat 2047 vision: Ashok Koul
Jammu, 21 September 2026: J&K BJP State General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul participated in two youth-focused programmes in Jammu under the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan’, engaging students through creative expression and constructive debate on the vision of a developed India by 2047.
J&K BJP Vice President Priya Sethi, Yuva Morcha President Arun Prabhat, District Prabhari Brijeshwar Rana, District Presidents Adv. Rajesh Gupta, and Naresh Singh, Mahila Morcha General Secretary Urvashi Gupta, Adarsh Jathiar, Nitish Mahajan, Ajay Gupta, Suneet Raina and School Principals Neelam Kumari Sharma and Jyoti Chib were also present.
Koul participated in the ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat–Chitra Seva’ programme organized at Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi, Jammu, where students expressed their vision of a developed, self-reliant and prosperous India through paintings and artwork on the theme ‘My Bharat 2047’.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul said that the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ is not merely a government objective but a collective national resolve in which the younger generation has a decisive role. He said that children and youth are the future builders of the nation, and such programmes provide them an opportunity to understand the aspirations of a developed India and express their ideas with creativity and confidence.
Koul said that the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan’ is taking the spirit of service, social responsibility and nation-building to different sections of society across Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047 requires active participation and commitment from the younger generation.
Priya Sethi said that the paintings reflected the hopes and aspirations of students for a stronger and more developed India. She said such activities nurture creativity, confidence and a sense of national responsibility among young minds.
Later, Ashok Koul participated as Chief Guest in a Debate Competition organized at Cooperative Public Higher Secondary School, Marble Market, Jammu. The students enthusiastically presented their views on nation-building, the vision of a developed India and the bright future of the country. Koul appreciated their confidence, clarity of thought and active participation.
Certificates were presented to the top performers in both activities in recognition of their talent and outstanding performance.
