YOUTH A POSITIVE ENERGY

Editorial . . . . .

It is commonly known that young people are the most important and dynamic group in any place. Theoretically, investing in youth health, education, and rights protection might lead to poor countries with substantial youth populations growing quickly. Young people today are tomorrow’s inventors, creators, builders, and leaders, as has been emphasised time and time again. They do, however, need the support they need in the form of excellent health, instruction, training, and opportunities to alter the future. When there are more available workers than there are people who need to be fed, the economy is triggered. Simply said, there must be a greater proportion of working-age individuals than dependent individuals. According to statistics, more than half of the people in Jammu and Kashmir are now of working age. Sadly, the majority of our young people are becoming restless. More work needs to be done if we’re to break the horrific cycles of unemployment, corruption, poverty, drug abuse and violence that plague the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. These problems are all pervasive and getting worse in our society, which makes it impossible for our government to uphold its real ideals. There is a demographic advantage for our UT. The world could alter thanks to them. Younger minds will be more creative and innovative, which helps UT progress. To better the nation, however, youth should be given ample opportunities to promote their viewpoints and ideas. They can only carry out their plans and express their viewpoints through politics. Our youth must be motivated to participate in politics and run for high office. The tools of unity and knowledge are more effective than experience. If the young are given the reigns of authority, we actually have a decent opportunity of fast becoming a sophisticated and wealthy UT. They can bring about change. The purpose of educational initiatives should be to instil in students the importance of choosing the right path of progress. Due to their own self-interest, dynasty politicians have always counselled our youth to steer clear of politics. However, young people should be encouraged to choose a career in politics as a method to benefit the nation. They should concentrate on anti-corruption efforts with a focus on education, prevention, and strategies for doing so. Youth empowerment is a realistic method for achieving good governance. Since they are youthful and brimming with ideas rather than principles, youth will play a significant role in this movement toward a transparent civil society structure that may influence the political system for the welfare of society. A UT of J&K can only maintain its vibrancy and dynamism with a strong young representation, and democracy can only work with a robust system of representation. Recognizing the role of civil society in promoting young empowerment is essential for strengthening the democratic framework of our J&K and fostering sustainable development. The solution is to convey among young people the notion that civil society projects may give them a voice and allow them to engage in democracy. To fulfil their tasks, they just need a supporting and enabling environment at the family, community, social, local, national, and international levels. Youth does, in fact, play a significant role in the development of a nation. They positively impact the nation and other young people, and they are tremendously ambitious and problem-solvers. They have the ability to develop their own identities and help the nation flourish. They won’t be able to do this on their own; they need the government’s help.
