18th Baba Amarnath Bhandara Organised by Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust in Jammu
JAMMU,19-07-2026 : The Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust, Shiv Market, opposite Railway Station, Jammu, organised the 18th Baba Amarnath Bhandara with religious fervour and devotion, extending a warm welcome to pilgrims proceeding on the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
The yatris were greeted with flowers amid chants of “Bam Bam Bhole”, creating a deeply spiritual and festive atmosphere at the Shiv Mandir premises.
More than 4,500 pilgrims partook of langar prasad served during the Bhandara. Members of the Trust and Shiv Market actively participated in making arrangements for the visiting devotees and ensured that the pilgrims were served with warmth and hospitality.
The Bhandara was inaugurated by Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma.
Among the prominent dignitaries present on the occasion were Ratan Lal Gupta, President, Jammu Province, National Conference; Manoj Prabhakar, Joint Controller, Legal Metrology; Arun Gupta, President, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jammu, along with his team; Uttam Chib; Shiv Partap Gupta, President, Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust; Rajinder Saraf, Senior Vice President; Vishwa Mitter, General Secretary; Bhupesh Gupta; Pankaj Gupta; besides members of Shiv Market.
The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust for organising the Bhandara and serving thousands of pilgrims undertaking the sacred pilgrimage.
During the programme, Satish Sharma also instructed the concerned Solar Department to take necessary steps for the installation of solar lights and a solar power system at the Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust premises.
The initiative is expected to strengthen the basic infrastructure of the temple complex and promote the use of clean and renewable energy.
The Shiv Mandir Charitable Trust expressed heartfelt gratitude to Satish Sharma for the initiative and appreciated his support towards improving facilities at the temple premises.
The Trust also thanked all dignitaries, volunteers, members of Shiv Market and well-wishers whose cooperation contributed to the successful organisation of the 18th Baba Amarnath Bhandara.
