52nd Yonex-Sunrise J&K UT Badminton Championships 2025 concludes

Jammu, 12-11-2025: The 52nd Yonex-Sunrise J&K U.T. Badminton Championships 2025 concluded at the Indoor Sports Complex M.A. Stadium Jammu on November 12, 2025. The tournament saw participation from 220 players across Seniors (Men & Women), Sub Junior (U-13 & 15), and Mini (U-11) categories.Chief Guest Ydhvir Sethi, Hon’ble MLA, J&K, distributed prizes to winners. Notable attendees included Dr. O.D. Sharma, Vice President BAI, and Chairman Badminton Association of J&K, and Balbir Jamwal, General Secretary BAJK.Speaking on the occasion, Ydhvir Sethi said, “I am delighted to see such talent and enthusiasm in Jammu & Kashmir’s badminton players. The Badminton Association of J&K and J&K Sports Council are doing commendable work in promoting the sport. I congratulate all winners and participants.” Men Single: Bhavya Sharma emerged winner, whereas Gopesh Singh adjudged Runner-up:, Men Double: Bhavya+Puranjay declared victorious, Raghav+Munish ended up Runner-up.
