Jammu, November 30: Tawi Trekkers J&K successfully conducted a one-day, 7-kilometer trek from Katal Battal to Aitham via the scenic Bhed Devta, nestled in the breathtaking foothills of the Shivalik range. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 133 students of Oriental Academy Senior Secondary School, Jammu, alongside several members of the trekking club.
Leading the trek was Sonam Sidharth, General Secretary of Tawi Trekkers J&K, who ensured the journey was both safe and enjoyable. The group was accompanied by prominent dignitaries, including Vivek Chauhan, Principal of Oriental Academy; Ram Khajuria, Advisor of Tawi Trekkers; Sanjeev Sharma, Executive Editor of Sportsline; and Rajesh Shan, a retired Chief Accounts Officer. Their presence added encouragement and gravitas to the adventure.
The trek was organized with the twin objectives of promoting adventure sports and instilling a deep connection with nature among the younger generation.
