Jammu, July 21, 2025: In a proud and significant moment, Rakesh Kumar Koul, a noted social activist, freelance journalist, and former Sarpanch, was conferred with the “Unity of Bharat Award 2025” by the National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India in collaboration with Global WWAD, functioning under the High Commission of Geneva.
The award was presented during a special felicitation ceremony held at K. L. Saigal Hall, Jammu, in recognition of Mr. Koul’s exceptional efforts in promoting unity, integrity, brotherhood, sovereignty, love, and peace, in the true spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”
The ceremony was graced by several eminent personalities, including Adv. M. A. Zargar, Director General of the Council, lauded Mr. Koul’s commitment to national harmony and praised his consistent service to society.
Sh. Munish Sharma, Senior BJP leader, along with other dignitaries and social workers, extended warm congratulations and acknowledged Mr. Koul’s vital contribution to community upliftment and national integration.
