Veteran IPS officer Abdul Ghani Mir returns from central deputation, new J&K posting imminent
Jammu: Senior IPS officer Abdul Ghani Mir of the 1995 batch is set to receive a new posting in Jammu and Kashmir, officials confirmed. Mir, who was previously serving in the J&K segment of the AGMUT cadre, has recently returned from central deputation. His upcoming assignment in the Union Territory is expected to be announced shortly.
