BKI Terrorist Parminder Pindi Extradited from UAE to India
Punjab Police brings back Babbar Khalsa operative involved in petrol bomb attacks, assaults, and extortion in Gurdaspur.
Chandigarh, Sep 27: Punjab Police has extradited Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Parminder Singh alias Pindi from the UAE, officials confirmed on Saturday.
Pindi, a close aide of foreign-based terrorists Harwinder Singh alias Rinda and Happy Passia, is accused of multiple crimes, including petrol bomb attacks, violent assaults, and extortions in Batala, Gurdaspur.
Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said the operation was conducted in close coordination with central agencies and UAE authorities. Acting on a red corner notice (RCN) requested by Batala police, a four-member Punjab Police team traveled to Abu Dhabi on September 24, completing all legal formalities to secure Pindi’s extradition.
In a post on X, Yadav stated that the accused has now been brought back to India to face justice.
