FASTag Annual Pass Surpasses 25 Lakh Users Within Two Months of Launch
Launched on Independence Day, the FASTag Annual Pass records 5.67 crore transactions, offering seamless travel across 1,150 toll plazas nationwide.
New Delhi, Oct 16: The FASTag Annual Pass, launched on Independence Day 2025, has surpassed 25 lakh users in just two months, with approximately 5.67 crore transactions recorded across the country.
The Annual Pass, aimed at enhancing ease of commuting, provides a seamless and economical travel option for National Highway users, and is currently valid at around 1,150 toll plazas on National Highways and National Expressways.
Under this scheme, vehicle owners can make a one-time payment of Rs 3,000 for a year’s validity or 200 toll plaza crossings, eliminating the need for frequent FASTag recharges. The pass is applicable for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag, and is activated within two hours via the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle, through the Rajmargyatra App or the NHAI website.
The pass is non-transferable and valid at National Highway and National Expressway toll plazas. At toll plazas on expressways and state highways managed by state governments or local bodies, the FASTag will utilize the existing wallet balance for payments.
Officials said the FASTag Annual Pass significantly reduces travel hassles, allowing commuters to enjoy faster, cashless, and convenient toll payments, while also helping manage traffic flow more efficiently across the national road network.
