Yogi Adityanath taunts INDIA bloc, calls its leaders ‘Pappu, Tappu, Appu’ in monkey jibe
At a rally in Bihar, the UP Chief Minister accused the Congress of betraying Hindus over Kashmir, praised PM Modi and Amit Shah for ending terrorism in the Valley, and ridiculed the INDIA alliance leaders with a “three monkeys” jibe.
UP, Nov 3 : Launching a scathing attack on the Congress RJD SP alliance ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday accused the opposition of being “Hindu traitors” and “opponents of Lord Ram and Maa Janaki.”
Addressing a public rally in Bihar, the UP CM blamed the Congress for the historical exodus of Hindus from Kashmir and for introducing Article 370, which he said led to decades of violence and extremism.
“Who caused disputes in Kashmir? It was Congress,” Yogi said. “Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have freed the Valley from terrorism and extremism. It was Congress’s sin that Article 370 was implemented Pakistanis were settling there while Indians were being forced to leave.”
Reiterating his poll slogan, he added, “NDA’s victory is Bihar’s victory. Batenge nahi toh katenge bhi nahi, ek rahenge toh safe rahenge (If we stay united, we’ll stay safe).”
Taking a sharp jibe at the opposition alliance, Yogi compared the INDIA bloc leaders to “Gandhi’s three monkeys,” calling them “Pappu, Tappu, and Appu” who “neither see, hear, nor speak the truth.”
“You must have heard of Gandhi’s three monkeys,” he said. “Today, the INDIA alliance has their own: Pappu can’t tell the truth, Tappu can’t see what’s right, and Appu can’t hear the truth.”
He further accused the opposition of “trying to breach Bihar’s security by aligning with family mafias,” and blamed the RJD for Bihar’s law and order problems during its earlier tenure. “With guns and pistols, they tainted Bihar’s entire system,” Yogi said, adding that the same forces are now attempting to divide people along caste lines.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Pawan Khera expressed confidence in the Mahagathbandhan’s prospects, saying the alliance was poised to form the next government in Bihar.
The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases — on November 6 and 11 — with vote counting scheduled for November 14.
