Arbaaz Khan Snaps at Reporter for Mentioning Salman Khan During ‘Kaal Trighori’ Event: ‘Kya Kisse Jante Ho?’
Actor filmmaker reprimands journalist for dragging Salman Khan’s name into unrelated questions; urges focus on his upcoming film Kaal Trighori
Mumbai, Nov 7 : Actor filmmaker Arbaaz Khan expressed his displeasure at a media event after a reporter mentioned his brother, Salman Khan, during the trailer launch of his upcoming supernatural thriller Kaal Trighori. The incident took place in Mumbai on Thursday, where Arbaaz firmly redirected the conversation back to his own work.
Visibly irritated, Arbaaz responded, “Salman Khan, Khan family ka naam dalna zaroori hai? Yeh sawal aise bhi puch sakte hain bina unka name use karre. (Is it really necessary to mention Salman Khan or the Khan family? You could’ve asked the question without using his name.)”
The exchange grew tense when the reporter insisted, saying, “Hum sab Salman ke kisse jaante hain (We all know stories about Salman).” Cutting him off, Arbaaz retorted, “Kya kisse jante ho, kya kisse hain? (What stories do you know?)” He went on to add, “If you already know them, why keep bringing them up? Let’s talk about this movie instead. When you meet Salman for his film, you can ask him those questions.”
Arbaaz further clarified that supporting others in the film industry isn’t exclusive to any one person or family. “Everybody in the film industry supports one another. It’s not a unique quality of the Khan family. Filmmaking is a collaborative process, and success depends on mutual support,” he said.
Directed by Nitin Vaidya, Kaal Trighori stars Arbaaz Khan alongside Rituparna Sengupta, Aditya Srivastava, Mahesh Manjrekar, Rajesh Sharma, and Mugdha Godse. The film is slated for theatrical release on November 14.
On the personal front, Arbaaz recently became a father to a baby girl, Sipaara, with his wife Sshura Khan, born on October 5.
