Eagle Strikes Train Engine Between Bijbehara and Anantnag, Pilot Injured; Passengers Safe
Train briefly halted at Anantnag station for safety inspection after mid journey incident
Anantnag, Nov 8: A train pilot sustained minor injuries after an eagle struck the mirror of a Baramulla–Banihal train between Bijbehara and Anantnag on Saturday morning.
According to railway officials, the locomotive pilot, Vishal, was slightly injured in the incident and received first aid at Anantnag Railway Station.
The train was temporarily halted at the station for inspection to ensure operational safety before resuming its journey. Officials confirmed that all passengers on board were safe and that services would continue as normal after necessary checks were completed.
