SIA conducts searches after FIR accusing newspaper of glorifying activities against national interests
JAMMU, Nov 20: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday conducted a raid at the office of the Kashmir Times in Jammu over allegations of promoting activities “against the interests of the country.”
According to officials, a case has been registered against the newspaper for the “glorification of activities inimical to national interests.” SIA teams carried out detailed searches at the premises, examining documents, systems, and digital records.
The case has reportedly been filed against the publication and its promoters, who are likely to be questioned in the coming days as part of the investigation.
