Diljit Dosanjh Unveils Gritty, Bloodied Look in First Poster of Border 2
Superstar Diljit stuns fans with bloodied, intense avatar in the first poster of Border 2, ahead of its January 2026 release.
Mumbai, Dec 01 : Excitement is mounting as superstar Diljit Dosanjh gears up for his role in the much anticipated war film Border 2. The makers recently released the first look of Diljit, offering fans a thrilling glimpse of the high stakes action to come.
In the poster, Diljit appears as a fearless air force officer in the heat of battle, seated inside his aircraft with bloodied hands and a determined gaze, ready to confront enemies on all fronts. The makers captioned the image: “Iss Desh ke Aasmaan Mein Guru ke Baaz Pehra dete hain #Border2 in cinemas 23rd January, 2026.”
Diljit also shared a short social media clip showing him walking confidently in a crisp Air Force uniform, accompanied by a background score reminiscent of the iconic track ‘Sandese Aate Hain’ from the original Border.
Earlier, the first look of Varun Dhawan was unveiled, depicting him in a tense war scenario, covered in dirt and sweat, and armed with ammunition. His poster read, “Border uska farz hai aur Bharat uska pyaar!”
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is the sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 classic, which portrayed the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The new installment reportedly draws inspiration from the Kargil conflict.
The ensemble cast includes Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa. With its release set for January 23, 2026, Border 2 is poised to be one of the biggest war dramas of the year.
