Opposition Leaders Huddle in Parliament to Finalise Joint Strategy
Congress, DMK, SP, Left parties attend strategy meet; TMC stays away for second time
New Delhi, Dec 3: Leaders of several opposition parties convened in Parliament on Wednesday to chalk out a coordinated strategy for the ongoing Winter Session.
Floor leaders from the Congress, DMK, RJD, SP, JMM, CPI(M), CPI, IUML, NCP–SP, and Shiv Sena (UBT) attended the meeting, which focused on building a united front on key legislative and political issues.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) was notably absent for the second time this session, having skipped the December 1 meeting as well a sign of continuing friction within the broader Opposition bloc.
