Jaipur Literature Festival to Host First International Edition in Valladolid, Spain, June 11–14
Jaipur, Jan 19 : The Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) has announced its first international edition, JLF Valladolid 2026, scheduled to take place in Spain from June 11 to 14. The event coincides with the India-Spain Dual Year of Culture, Tourism, and Artificial Intelligence, marking 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The announcement was made on Sunday by Sanjoy K Roy, Managing Director of Teamwork Arts, alongside Spanish cultural leaders Blanca Jiménez, Guillermo, and Antonio Largo. Organisers emphasised that JLF Valladolid will serve as a global platform for literary and cultural exchange, highlighting the deepening ties between India and Spain.
The festival will feature discussions, performances, and collaborations across literature, arts, tourism, and innovation, reflecting a shared heritage and fostering people to people connections. JLF Valladolid is part of a broader year long programme of joint initiatives between the two nations.
