London, Jan 20: Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, has publicly addressed a long simmering family rift, accusing his parents of manipulation, media control, and repeated disrespect toward his wife, actress Nicola Peltz Beckham.

In a candid statement to his millions of followers, the 26 year old said he had stayed silent for years, hoping private discussions would resolve tensions. But he claims ongoing media interference and attempts to shape the family narrative left him no choice but to speak out.

“This is the first time in my life I am standing up for myself,” Brooklyn wrote, making clear that he does not wish to reconcile with his parents.
