Trump Claims Iran ‘Totally Defeated’ but Rejects Proposed Deal

US, Mar 14 : US President Donald Trump on Saturday asserted that Iran has been “totally defeated” and is seeking a deal with the United States, but emphasized that the terms on offer are unacceptable to him.

“The Fake News Media hates to report how well the United States Military has done against Iran, which is totally defeated and wants a deal   but not a deal that I would accept!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

US Strikes Iran’s Oil Hub at Kharg Island

The latest military action targeted Iran’s strategic oil export hub, Kharg Island. Trump announced that the United States Central Command executed one of the “most powerful bombing raids in the history of the Middle East,” destroying all military targets on the island.

Trump stressed that, for now, the US chose not to target the oil infrastructure but warned that any interference with free shipping through the Strait of Hormuz could prompt reconsideration.

Trump Boasts of US Military Strength

Highlighting his administration’s military capabilities, Trump said, “During my first term, and currently, I rebuilt our military into the most lethal, powerful, and effective force, by far, anywhere in the world. Iran has no ability to defend anything that we want to attack — there is nothing they can do about it!”

He reiterated that Iran will not be able to acquire nuclear weapons or threaten the United States, Israel, or the wider Middle East.

Tehran Signals Retaliation

Iran’s Armed Forces warned that any attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure would trigger retaliatory strikes against facilities linked to US-aligned companies. Tehran continues to reject claims of surrender and vows to protect its strategic assets, including the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump’s Broader Middle East Message

Trump also stated that Iran’s plans to dominate the Middle East and threaten Israel are now “dead.” He urged the Iranian military and allied groups to lay down arms to save what remains of the country.

Summary: President Trump claims Iran is militarily defeated and wants a deal, but rejects its terms. The US has struck Kharg Island’s military facilities while sparing oil infrastructure, warning of potential escalation if Iran interferes with the Strait of Hormuz.
