Jammu, Mar 18 — Authorities on Wednesday reopened the Mughal Road for light motor vehicles (LMVs) after a temporary closure earlier in the day due to fresh snowfall.
Conditional Restoration of Traffic
SSP Traffic Rural, Farooq Qaiser, stated that the resumption of vehicular movement is subject to fair weather conditions at Pir Ki Gali, where snowfall had disrupted traffic.
Timings and Movement Restrictions
Officials said that traffic on the route will be strictly regulated between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, in line with the existing advisory to ensure safety along the stretch.
Advisory for Commuters
Travelers have been urged to drive cautiously and follow all traffic guidelines while using the road, given the prevailing weather conditions and potential risks.
