J&K’s Samba: Pakistani Intruder Apprehended Along Border
Border Security Forces intercept and detain trespasser; repatriation underway
JAMMU, Mar 25: The Border Security Force (BSF) detained a Pakistani national after he crossed into Indian territory along the International Border in Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
BSF troops stationed at Border Out Post Bhaller in the Ramgarh sector noticed the movement of an elderly man from across the border. When challenged, the intruder surrendered without incident.
Preliminary questioning indicated that the individual had inadvertently crossed into Indian territory. Officials stated that he will be repatriated to Pakistan after completion of the necessary formalities.
