JK Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Association interacts with Commissioner CGST, Jammu

25-02-2021: An Interactive Session was organized by JK Pharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Association to Honour Sh. Hir Bhagat Negi, Commissioner (CGST), Jammu and Sh. Mahesh Kumar Rustogi, Commissioner (Audit), (CGST), Jammu in the presence of Sh. C.L. Dogra, Additional Commissioner (CGST), Dr. Vishal Choudhary Joint. Commissioner (CGST), Dr.Gaurav Mittal, Dy. Commissioner (CGST), Dr. Safdar Ali, Dy. Commissioner (CGST), Sh. Vikramditya Meena, Dy. Commissioner (CGST), Sh. Manoj Kumar Pandohi, Asstt.Commissioner (CGST), Sh. Ajay Kumar Tadia, Asstt. Commissioner (CGST).

During the Interactive Session, While Welcoming the Worthy Commissioners and other officials of the Department, Sh. Satish Kaul, President of the Association highlighted the various issues related to the Industrial Sector of Jammu & Kashmir, which also includes the Package of Incentives 2021 announced by Govt. of India in which the Existing Units and units under Substantial Expansion not provided the benefit of Reimbursement of Gross GST and other Fiscal Incentives and requested the Worthy Commissioner to take up the matter with concerned Departments for the grant of Fiscal Incentives at par with the new Units to avoid Unhealthy Competition between the New Units and Old Units.

Sh. Lalit Mahajan, Chairman, Federation of Industries Jammu, while welcoming the chief guest, appreciated the working of the CGST Department, Jammu under the able guidance of Sh. C.L. Dogra, Additional Commissioner, CGST Jammu, requested for the issuance of sanction Order of IGST/CGST awaiting the release of Funds by DPIIT, enabling the Unit Holders to file their Claims of Reimbursement with the State Tax Department, resolve the issues of Industrial Sector by the Department at their Level before issuing the Show Cause Notices to avoid the Litigation.

Memento was also presented to the Hon’ble Guests.

Mahesh Kumar Rustogi, Commissioner(Audit), CGST, Jammu gave a patient hearing to the issues highlighted by the President of the association & Chairman FOIJ with an assurance to resolve their issues on a priority basis.
