NEET-UG Re-Exam Scheduled for June 21

NTA announces fresh date for medical entrance test as CBI begins probe into alleged exam-related malpractice

NEW DELHI, May 15: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday announced that the NEET-UG re-examination will be conducted on June 21 after the medical entrance test was scrapped over allegations of irregularities.

The undergraduate medical entrance examination was originally held on May 3 across the country. However, concerns regarding alleged malpractice and procedural lapses prompted authorities to cancel the test earlier this week.

On Tuesday, the NTA confirmed that the matter had been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a detailed inquiry into the reported irregularities linked to the examination process.

The agency said fresh arrangements are being made to ensure transparency and fairness during the re-conducted examination. Further guidelines and updated schedules for candidates are expected to be issued shortly.
